3 April 2012 — Mopar Rumble 2012 Car Show Announced!
The Regals Mopar Car Club and Sydney Dragway have announced the return of the Mopar Rumble, Sydney’s sole Mopar-only drag-racing event and car show. Held on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of November 2012, it will have all the action of last year’s show plus much more. Open to all Chrysler vehicles both new and old, “The Rumble” will have drag racing, burnout comp, dyno comp, show ‘n’ shine, cruising and trade stands, as well as pro-judging, people’s choice and a super cruise.
Chris Mede, the president of the Regals Mopar Car Club says the show is continuing to grow each year. “Competitor and spectator numbers doubled from the 2010 to the 2011 event, and based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve received, it looks like the 2012 Mopar Rumble will be even bigger.
“Each year we are fine-tuning the event as part of our commitment to making the Mopar Rumble one of the biggest and best Mopar events in the country. The addition of pro judging brought some of the hottest Mopars in Australia to last year’s event, and the super cruise was a big hit with entrants and spectators alike.”
Event details coming soon.
