24 August 2010 — Change of venue for “meet ‘n’ greet” on Friday night
We've decided to change the venue of the Regals Meet ‘n’ Greet event at 7pm on Friday the 26th of November. It was originally to be held at the Regals clubhouse in St Marys, but we now have an opportunity to take advantage of the magnificent facilities at The Sebel Parramatta, 350 Church Street, Parramatta. Food and bar facilities will be available, and it is only a 15 minute walk from Parramatta train station. For those who want to drive, there is paid secure underground parking available. It should be a great night, and an opportunity for us all to get to know each other in a luxurious, relaxed environment prior to the event. 22 August 2010 — Drag Racing and Burnout Competition Entrant Form
After a period of absence, the Drag Racing, Burnout Competition and Show & Shine entrant form is now available for competitors at both the Sydney Dragway and Mopar Rumble websites. We truly regret any inconvenience caused by this technical fault, but unfortunately it was out of the Mopar Rumble organisers' hands. We encourage you to enter now, so please click here to download the current entry form from the pre-entry page.
Goodies bags
Just a heads-up for those seriously interested in competing; the first 300 Drag Racing, Burnout or Show & Shine entrants will receive a goodies bag, and it promises to be one of the coolest goodies bags on offer. Details of the contents will be finalised and made public shortly, but forget about the usual bag full of paper and garbage, you’ll want to keep every item in this one!
Dyno comp entry form
Okay horsepower junkies, we are now taking entrants for the dyno competition. With 7 trophies on offer, and your reputation on the line, here’s your chance to prove to your mates how tuff your car really is. It’s your opportunity to put your money where your mouth is and finally settle those bar room bets!
But hey, maybe you just need to know your kitten is purring right, or that your engine builder hasn’t ripped you off! There’s only one way to find out…
At only $50 (which includes a $5.00 donation to the Museum of Fire) it has to be the cheapest way to measure your rear wheel horsepower. Remember, there are only 30 spaces available, so get in quick! Click here to download the dyno entry form from the
pre-entry page.
